FACILITIES ENGINEER II

Designs building facilities, equipment, and machinery. Coordinates with building contractors and ensures building safety and adherence to applicable building codes.

Requirements:

BS Degree in Electrical Engineering Ten to fifteen years progressive experience in pharmaceutical plant design and maintenance. This position is responsible for design, construction and maintenance of the plant Control and Electrical infrastructure systems, reporting to the Plant Engineering Manager. Candidate must have a working knowledge of 480v/110v power distribution, Environmental Monitoring, Security Access, Smoke/Fire Alarm and Building Management Systems. Must be able to support A/B PLC programming and have Validation experience. Ability to direct one or more direct reports. Knowledge of LIMS and Maximo is highly desirable and should also have familiarity with Clean Rooms, WFI, Clean Steam, and MOCs. Must be able to trouble shoot control systems and direct corrective actions.

Knowledge of pharmaceutical processing equipment and calibration/certification is highly desirable. Candidate must be highly motivated, have working knowledge of cGMPs, and have good oral and written communication skills. PE in Missouri or ability to obtain is desirable. Licensed Electrician is also desirable.
