Job Description
Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Operations, you will be responsible for mangment of our facilities department

Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Proactively managing the design, planning and maintenance of the Company's buildings and building equipment including high pressure boilers, clean steam systems, HVAC, WFI/USP water systems, low pressure boilers and associated utilities and process equipment
Negotiating vendor agreements to ensure purchases of materials, equipment and services are received at the best price for the required quality
Identifying and managing contractors to support the operation of the building including electricians, plumbers, HVAC, etc.
Establishing and maintaining a safe work environment
Assuring the facilities department is in compliance with all company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent
A minimum of 8-10 years experience with at least 5 years supervisory experience in a biotech or pharmaceutical company in a cGMP environment
Computer skills including Microsoft Office
A firm grasp of the relevant technical knowledge
Proven leadership abilities
