Fermentation and Purification Technicians Needed!

Kelly Scientific Resources currently has many full time, direct-hire positions in the Baltimore area for bioprocessing technicians and specialists with a leading biopharmaceutical company.

Salary: $30-35K

Responsibilities include:
These positions will be responsible for biopharmaceutical manufacturing including the support of mammalian cell culture, fermentation, and purification of in-process and finished biopharmaceutical products in a FDA, GMP regulated environment.
- You will be responsible for operating biopharmaceutical manufacturing equipment including fermentors, chromatography columns, centrifuges, and related bioprocessing techniques.
- Other responsibilities include media and buffer prep, equipment maintenance, accurate batch documentation, and assisting engineering, validation, and related departments.

In addition to the above mentioned responsibilities; Bioprocessing Specialists will also assist with the training of new technicians and provide support for various tech transfer and validation projects.

Requirements:
Technicians require HS diploma with 2 years or BS Science 1-2 years of industry experience including familiarity with cGMP's, fermentation, and cell culture experience.

Specialists require HS diploma with 4 years or BS Science with 2-3 years of industry experience including familiarity with cGMP's, fermentation, and cell culture experience.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work in a production environment.
- A flexible schedule is required as work hours will include shift work and holidays.
