FIELD DEVELOPMENT SCIENTIST

 

We are seeking an energetic, results-oriented scientist or engineer to provide technical support to sales, subsidiaries, distributors, and end users in wastewater (IWT) and institutional and household (I&H) markets.  This is an exciting opportunity to contribute in a dynamic organization.  This individual will provide guidance, product recommendations, and application follow-through, including on-site service, as well as perform laboratory treatability studies. Additionally, this position will conduct field evaluations of pre-commercial products as well as participate in new product/technology development relative to customer needs. The successful candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work independently on projects relative to the business. 

 

RequirementsM.S. in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Microbiology, a related natural science discipline or a B.S. in related discipline as previously noted with 3-5 years industry experience.Demonstrated commitment to excellence in biological waste treatment.  A minimum of 1-2 years post-college work experience in a related field is required ? relevant internships will count towards this requirement.  Ability to work independently on projects with minimal supervision and self-manage workload.Excellent oral and written communication skills ? samples desired.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.Strong organizational skills.Ability to work successfully in a team environment with demonstrated ability to interact effectively within and across departmental lines.Ability and willingness to travel - U.S. and international - (20-40%). Working knowledge of wastewater treatment strongly desired.Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.Relocation assistance may be available to qualified candidate.
