Field Service Engineer-Dallas, TX

The Service Engineer is responsible for troubleshooting and repair of NxStage equipment and training for internal and customer service technicians.

 



Specific Responsibilities: 

 

- Provide telephone technical support as required and/or on an on-call basis

- Travel to customer site for installation, repair or training

- Technical writing of service procedures and documents

- Become expert in the troubleshooting and repair of our systems

 

Specific Experience:

 

- BS degree or equivalent experience in a technical discipline

- Experience with dialysis equipment strongly preferred.

- Exceptional troubleshooting ability and technical expertise, preferably with medical devices.

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet required timelines.

- Superior organizational and follow-up skills.

- Professional and courteous manner in speaking with customers.  Ability to recognize customer tone and respond accordingly.

- Ability to interface with multiple groups in the organization to resolve service issues.

- Overall positive and optimistic attitude

- Ability to lift heavy objectts and work in areas not always optimized for service activity

- Self-Motivated individual willing to work independently or in a team atmosphere

- Ability to travel with little or no notice (75% travel, overnights required).

- Ability to make own travel arrangements
