Field Service Engineer-Raleigh

CDI, the on-site recruiting group for our client, is currently searching for talented people to join their successful organization. Our client is currently looking to add a Field Service Engineer to their team.

 

 

Requirements:

 
3-5 years experience in related field
Hard working experience working with
Hydraulics
Electronics
Pneumatic
Mechanical Engineering
Military, Avionics experience welcomed
Complex Diagnostics Experience desirable
Bachelors Degree and/or Military Training

 

Responsibilities Include:

 
Installs major systems including setup, checkout and customer signoff after successful completion.
Responds in a timely manner to customer calls for emergency repairs by going to the site or repairing phone, determination to be made by Field Service Engineer.
Determines when customer system or application problems require next level support and escalates through normal procedures.
Schedules and performs routine preventive maintenance to meet contractual obligations.
Provides training to customers on operation, maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
Manages and maintains company assets including field inventory, test equipment, computer, tools and company vehicle.
Communicates regularly and collaborates with local sales representatives and sales management in order to achieve profitability goals.
Forecasts revenue and expense budgets.
Responsible for meeting revenue budget through contract and time & material sales and maintaining expenses at or below budget.
