Filling Associate Laboratory Technician

This position is responsible for properly filling frozen vaccines final product. Responsibilities of this position include preparation, set up, and operation of filling equipment. Additional responsibilities include preparation of dry heat ovens and autoclaves; Operate programmed freezers, cane ampoules, pack frozen vaccine for BRT transport. Clean and disinfect area. Complete relevant Filling documentation and perform quality and volume checks.


Qualifications:

-Bachelors Degree in Biology and 2 to 5 years applicable experience in biological field preferred.

-Maintenance or mechanical aptitude
-Clean room experience or familiar with aseptic filling preferred
-Position requires some manual dexterity and excellent visual accuracy, ability to lift 50 lbs, and stand for extended periods of time.
-Ability to work independently to prepare and set up equipment
-High school diploma or equivalent
