Forecasting Manager

The Medicines Company is a dynamic pharmaceutical company specializing in acute hospital care. The Company acquires, develops and commercializes pharmaceutical products in late stages of their development. Its first marketed acute care hospital product, Angiomax? (bivalirudin), is an anticoagulant used in patients undergoing coronary angioplasty. The goal of the Company is clear ? to be a leader in acute hospital care in terms of providing service to caregivers and patients. The goal for the employees is that they own and are invested in that success ? both in terms of ownership of the company and in the end-result of improved patient outcomes.

 

We are looking for a Forecasting Manager for our Parsippany, NJ office.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:

 Forecasting Angiomax, Clevidipine and Cangrelor. Forecasting new product development opportunities.Working collaboratively with the various business unit partners. Providing updates and managing expectations.Communicating consequences and ensuring timely forecasts.

 

Qualifications:Bachelor?s degree in related discipline is essential, with a Business, Management or Finance concentration; MBA is preferredExcellent communication, project management, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work successfully in diverse team environments and confidently report results Independent and self-starter Expertise in forecasting is a must, with five plus years experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry; plus two years in financeExperience in hospital setting-acute care is also strongly preferredProficient in Microsoft Office Suite Ability to successfully multi-task and prioritize.
