Formulation Associate
VERY BUSY BIOPHARM CLIENT HAS IMMEDIATE NEED IN THEIR PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT FORMULATION DEPT.
Duties to include:
1.Assists in the development of formulations for biological molecules
2.Knowledge of and operation of analytical instrumentation including: HPLC, Electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE and IEF), Spectrophotometer, Fluorimeter, DSC, HIAC, DLS, pH meter, Conductivity Meter and Osmometer.
3.Freeze Dryer Operation
4.Buffer preparation
5.Data entry
6.Perform routine assays to test the chemical stability of proteins in relation to excipients and storage conditions
7.Assay development and trouble shooting
8.Assist in the development final drug dosage forms
9.Maintain Laboratory and Laboratory Records
10.Work in a safe manor compliant to company policies and procedures
Position requires BS with 2 to 4 years of experience or MS with 0-2 years of experience (degree in Biology, Chemistry
or related field)
Knowledge of the use of and experience with HPLC, spectrophotometry, electrophoresis, microcalorimetry and light
scattering techniques
