We have an outstanding career opportunity for a successful Formulations Scientist located in our Pomona, NY offices.

Responsibilities include:

Work on complex projects in support of new product development, while adhering to regulatory requirements
Conduct pre-formulation research and characterization of pharmaceutical components and drug delivery systems
Identify and evaluate the critical formulation and processing parameters to develop drug delivery systems to be manufactured using state-of-the-art technology
Conduct data analysis and report writing to support NDA/ANDA and PAI filings

Position Requirements include:

PhD in pharmaceutics or industrial pharmacy, or a Masters Degree and 5 years' US experience in formulation development
Familiarity with pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment such as mixers, tablet presses, capsule machines, fluid beds, tablet coaters, etc.
Working knowledge of experimental equipment such as x-ray diffractometry (XRD), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), surface area analysis, rheometry, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), and isothermal microcalorimetry (ITMC)
In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutics, industrial pharmacy, physical pharmacy, pharmacokinetics, chemistry, and biostatistics
Working knowledge of statistical design and math modeling
Strong communication skills; both written and oral
