Major Responsibilities:

Basic Function:

As a member of the Data Management Team, the Data Manager provides study specific support to the data management team assigned to a clinical study. The DM is responsible and accountable for part of the data management activities within a study, assuring that these activities are performed according to quality, schedule and cost standards set by the Study Management Team (SMT). This is achieved by working closely with the Study Data Manager who is representing data management at the study level on the (SMT).

Principal functional responsibilities:

? Performs discrepancy management for a portion of a clinical study under direction of the Study Data Manager (SDM)

? Adheres to established database standards and structures to meet data management and reporting requirements

? Responsible for the rapid identification, management and resolution of discrepancies within the agreed work flow to ensure adherence to study timelines

? Interact with Investigator site and monitors

? Assists with identifying, developing and implementing data quality checks

? Tracks and monitors the receipt of CRF pages from the investigational site

? Contributes to the updating of data management study documentation

? Assists in the preparation of material for and may participate in making presentations at Investigator Meetings and Monitors' Workshop/Training

? Maintains knowledge of current related Pharma Development SOPs, guidelines and Best Practices

Qualifications:

Qualifications and Experience:

College/University degree - Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts, Registered Nurse, or higher equivalent education in scientific, medical or relevant technical discipline

One or more years of data management experience preferred

Knowledge of relational databases and experience using data management systems ? preferably ORACLE/Clinical

Planning and organizational skills

Fluent in English
