Group Marketing Manager, Medical Device Marketing

Job Responsibilities: Evaluate the market for products used for hemostasis at surgery with the aim of developing an effective market segmentation enabling the management team to choose target segment(s) and position products for them.
Conceive and develop advertising/ promotional materials and marketing programs which appeal to the target segment(s) and reinforce positioning in the market.
Travel extensively with field sales representatives to learn sales and marketing channel, develop relationships with customers and foster the successful implementation of promotional materials and execution of marketing programs.
Work closely with sales management, medical affairs and in-house legal, regulatory and customer service teams to assure the successful conception, development and introduction of marketing programs.
Measure regularly and systematically the execution and effectiveness of the marketing plans and report conclusions to senior management team.
Serve as a liaison where applicable for sales and marketing personnel outside the United States.
Attend and present at national and regional conventions, trade shows and symposia; and assist in the preparation of the annual marketing budget.

 

Job Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree required (MBA or equivalent desired).
Field sales and marketing experience in the healthcare industry (preferably ?surgeon choice? medical devices);
Knowledge of and experience at one or more of the following: cardiac, vascular, spinal/orthopedic, neuro- and/or general surgery;
Willingness to travel extensively;
Experience working closely with design engineers on design and development of new products;
Passion for the conception and marketing of new technologies for surgery; and
desire to assume additional personnel management responsibility over time.

 

Base compensation: 125k-140k + bonus
