Information Analyst, Competitive & Technical Information

Genzyme?s Competitive & Technical Information group is seeking an Information Analyst to provide competitive and market intelligence. The analyst will actively participate in supporting the company?s commercial planning efforts by providing objective, in-depth information about current and future markets and competitive forces under the supervision of a Senior or Principal Analyst. This position is located in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Specific responsibilities include:
? Providing ongoing surveillance of competitors and market dynamics
? Reporting on those events to key stakeholders in the business unit
? Analyzing the impact of competitor activities on our business
? Responding to ad hoc project requests for market analysis

Basic Qualifications:
BA/BS with a minimum of two years of experience. Minimum of two years knowledge of the bio/pharmaceutical industry. This position requires written and verbal interaction with many departments. Minimum of two years knowledge of secondary data sources and research methods required. Minimum of two years knowledge and use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint)
