Inventory Analyst

Manage the daily cycle count and inventory adjustment programs. Maintain and develop spreadsheets detailing inventory and cycle count adjustments. Post and implement new KMI's to improve processes in compliance with SOX requirements. Resolve internal warehousing and Production issues quickly to increase Customer Service. Resolve all inventory discrepancy issues on a daily basis including root cause analysis. Communicate with workforce improvement opportunities related to discrepancies.

Develop and manage statistical data for measuring employee performance for each critical warehousing function. Work with Distribution Management to ensure measurements are timely and effective.

Manage daily compliance of dangerous goods shipments including assurance procedures are up to date with the current regulations (IATA/ICAO and CFR 49).

Bachelor's degree in Materials Management / Industrial Engineering or a related discipline or equivalent work experience. CPM and/or CPIM certification and training certificates for IATA/ICAO and CFR49 area a plus.

Requires a minimum of 2 years related experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this position. Must be analytical, and work well with others in a team environment.

The applicant must be proactive and have good analytical skills. He or she will be asked to demonstrate proficiency with a personal computer that shows a high level of working knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software. WMS (Red Prairie) and Baan ERP experience are desirable.
