Jr. Chemist - Neutraceutical

Kelly Scientific has an excellend opportunity for an entry level Chemist with a neutraceutical company in City of Industry. This is a temp to hire position.

The job of Chemist is responsible for providing the support to the Laboratories to ensure that all testing have been performed as per Best Formulations written Standard Operation Procedures, Analytical Procedures, and/or as per USP/NF Compendia. Verify, monitor, and follow strict cGMP guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
This POSITION will be responsible for the following tasks (tasks may include, but are not limited to the following):

Position Requirements - QC Chemist


Perform wet chemistry, HPLC, GC, Dissolution test, UV, pH, etc.
Perform analytical tests of raw material, in-process, and finished product
Calibrate instruments used for QC testing
Document test results, problems and other issues, perform initial troubleshooting of issues that arise during analysis, conduct all analysis and documentation using cGMP and FDA guidelines
Investigate OOS issues and implement corrective actions
Perform laboratory instrument validation (IQ, OQ, PQ)
Perform method validation
Perform cleaning validation
Manage special projects assigned
