CLINICAL BIOSTATISTICIAN
Global pharmaceutical organization that develops, manufactures and markets innovative products and services that span the continuum of care from prevention and diagnosis to treatment and cure, seeking a Clinical Statistician. Work with a company focused on integrated solutions across the health care spectrum for some of the world?s most prevalent medical conditions, including AIDS, cancer and diabetes.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsibilities include in-depth statistical expertise in the areas of experimentation, protocols, case report form design, data base structure, and analysis plan. Collaborate with various medical groups to complete joint scientific reports and FDA overviews, including review of such reports to ensure accuracy and clarity. You will interact highly with lead statisticians on multiple projects in various therapeutic areas. May also contribute to the decision for optimal study design and contribute to the proper use of statistical methodologies on studies for specific therapeutic areas. Provide appropriate statistical input into study design and analysis of data. Ensures that statistical sections of protocol-directed studies are designed to validate product performance claims. Participates in the preparation of data review. Assist in developing experimental design and perform statistical analyses for studies. This is a golden opportunity for greater upward mobility.
REQUIREMENTS:
This candidate must have clinical research experience and extensive SAS programming skills. This is a very fast paced environment and they need the hit the ground running without training. Specific experience in clinical statistics, experimental design & associated data analysis is desirable. Candidates must have a minimum of 1-2 years SAS experience with bio-medical applications.
EDUCATION:
A Masters degree in Statistics required, PhD preferred.
