Lab Technician

Smith Hanley Consulting Group is currently seeking a Lab Technician for the S. San Francisco, CA area.

The ideal and successful candidate will possess the following:

B.S. in physical or life sciences
Familiarity with basic analytical laboratory equipment, such as balances, pH meters, spectrophotometers, glassware

Responsibilities will include:

General support activities for GMP testing laboratory, including reagent preparation
Ordering of chemicals and supplies
Sample receipt
Small equipment maintenance and calibration (balance weight checks, spectrophotometer checks)
Various administrative support duties.
Will assist in routine "sweeps" of the lab to ensure compliance with cGMP, GLP and safety regulations.
