Laboratory Supervisor

VIVUS? business strategy applies the Company?s scientific and medical expertise to identify, develop and commercialize therapies that restore sexual function. We're seeking a hands-on team player to join our Quality Control group as a Laboratory Supervisor at our Lakewood, NJ manufacturing site.
The selected candidate will oversee routine testing and data review of finished product, in-process, and raw materials samples; ensure all testing meets cGMP and SOP requirements; schedule laboratory testing; investigate OOS results; oversee training of laboratory personnel; and ensure laboratory equipment is calibrated and validated. Candidates must be PC proficient and possess strong interpersonal, organizational and written/verbal communication skills. Requires a BS in a scientific discipline, at least 5 years of relevant experience, 2 years of supervisory experience in the pharmaceutical/medical device industry, and working knowledge of cGMPs related to a laboratory environment.
