Laboratory Technician I

JOB SUMMARY: To function as a customer service/processing tech for the day laboratory. To answer client calls and resolve/troubleshoot problems. To assist with chemistry during the afternoon laboratory run.

HOURS: 11:30 AM - 7:30 PM

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Specimen processing
*Answering phone/handling client issues
*Chemistry aide






Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: BS Degree preferred, but not required.

EXPERIENCE: Laboratory experience preferred. Customer service with veterinary clients preferred

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Strong customer service skills. Ability to learn laboratory sample handling quickly
Able to type accurately. Must work well in a team environment.
