Learning Management Systems Specialist

We are currently seeking professionals with experience in learning management systems to join our team and help take USDM to the next level.  USDM operates throughout the US, Canada, Mexico and Internationally.

 

This position is responsible for performing implementation/validation and for providing consultative assistance to clients in a FDA regulated environment.

 

Primary responsibility involves partnering with global business and IT functional areas to interpret business strategies and objectives to support implementation of, and changes to, appropriate information systems for supporting the implementation and validation of Learning Management Systems.

 

Responsibilities include: Technically supporting the LMS application and other systems as required. Establishing and maintaining positive business relationships with managers and staff in department/functional areas. Become familiar with, and demonstrate a sufficient understanding of the customer?s business and their processes, and evaluate system functionality and performance to ensure that they meet current and future business requirements. Preparing the appropriate documentation in support of project activities (e.g. project charters, test plans, etc.) in relation to both support work and the implementation of system changes. Participating and/or facilitating in the implementation of new programs, processes, and systems. Providing input to system design, configuration, and business processes, presenting key findings and recommendations to higher-level analysts and/or management, and becoming familiar with data outlets that customers interface with. May be required to serve as the Project Manager, team member, and/or engage in vendor management for projects requiring in-depth business analysis expertise. Travel is required.

 

Education: Bachelor?s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Computer Science or combination of education and experience required.

 

Required Skills/Experience: Specific experience in implementing Learning Management Systems5-8 years related experience. Good project management skills. Good problem-solving skills; the ability to troubleshoot as well as develop alternative solutions to problems. Good written and verbal communication, and presentation skills. Demonstrates good interpersonal skills including the ability to interact well with a variety of personalities, craft skills and educational levels. Commitment to customer service. Demonstrates good organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision. Good understanding of computer validation requirements as it relates to Biopharm/Medical Device. Biopharm/Medical Device experience.

 

Desired Skills/Experience: Familiarity with regulatory compliance (FDA, EMEA, etc.)
