MANAGER SCIENTIFIC COMMUNICATIONS

Job Responsibilities:

Develops and manages US publication plans and budgets including primary and
secondary publications for products within the Oncology therapeutic area.
Contracts and manages external vendors related to scientific communications,
medical meeting management and publications. Responsible for coordinating
scientific communications including abstracts, posters, competitive
intelligence, meeting summaries, etc. at medical meetings and conferences.
Responsible for creating and managing processes for medical meeting management
and publication planning. Liaises with US and global Medical Strategy, Clinical
Operations, Medical Communication, Field Medical Science, Competitive and
Business Intelligence teams to develop communications and publications plans.
Responsible for tracking, synthesizing, and communicating therapeutic area and
product information to key internal stakeholders to facilitate decision making.

Job Requirements/Education:

Advanced degree MS, Pharm D., PhD, MD preferred with 3 to 5 years experience in
healthcare or related industry. Current experience in therapeutic area
required. Demonstrated ability to assess, synthesize, effectively and
accurately communicate clinical and scientific data. Experience with
pharmaceutical writing and publications management within the Healthcare
industry including vendor management and the implementation of related
technologies is preferred. Understanding of FDA, OIG, Pharma Code of Conduct,
ICMJE, and other guidelines related to post marketing practices. Exceptional
organizational and communication skills, both oral and written, and an ability
to work in diverse, cross functional matrix teams.

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
