MEDICAL SCIENCE ANALYST/KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATE
Market Research Position We are currently seeking an exceptional and talented individual to join our biopharmaceutical team. This individual will play an integral role by performing rigorous collection and analysis of the emerging field of angiogenesis-based science and medicine focused on clinical, research, industry, regulatory, and other strategic developments. This role is central to enabling and supporting:
*Senior executive planning
*Business development strategy, planning and preparation
* Program development and execution
*New product development
*Consumer pieces directed to the biopharmaceutical industry, healthcare professionals, government audiences, and patient groups in the form of print, web, multimedia, exhibit materials
*Conferences, symposia and special events
Primary Job Responsibilities:
*Mine multiple sources of information on angiogenesis on a daily basis (electronic sources, publications, industry reports and releases, government regulations/guidance, etc) and at related conferences
*Harvest, codify, analyze and productize information
*Ensure institutional up-to-dating on all developments in the field through briefing reports and synopses capturing emerging news in a concise and standardized summary format
*Maintain translation of up-to-date knowledge to programmatic application *Support and execution needs of specific projects
*Maintain files and databases
* Serve as the internal point of contact for all field information requests
*Some travel required (less than 10%) Skills and Attributes Required
*Graduate degree required
*Minimum of 3 years experience in a corporate setting with 2 years experience in either competitive intelligence or market research
*Detailed knowledge of the life sciences, biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry *Must excel at time-management and generate high quality work in fast-paced environment
*Possess inherent aptitude to extract, process, analyze and communicate key information from scientific, medical, industry and governmental sources
*A very strong work ethic, resourcefulness, and the ability to consistently finish tasks on time with the highest attention to quality and detail.
*Excellent verbal and technical writing skills
*Strong skills in presenting technical information and putting it into a business context
*Database management Computer Skills Preferred PowerPoint, FileMaker Pro, Excel, Word, expert in Internet research
