Operational Excellence Leader

Oversees the planning, development, implementation and prioritization of the Operational Excellence program with a focus on Six Sigma, lean manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement. Ensures the effective use of plant resources to meet Operational Excellence and Six Sigma objectives. Provide technical support and mentoring for Six Sigma candidates. Act as liaison with Plant Engineering, Process Engineering, and Manufacturing to facilitate alignment of objectives. Conducts exercises to help align and prioritize capital spending, manufacturing yield improvements/reliability, and cost reduction efforts. Provide operational excellence and six sigma overview training to various departments as requested.

Requirements:

4 year technical degree
3-5 years of Manufacturing Experience
Formal Lean Training required
Lean Certification preferred
Six Sigma training (in progress or complete) required
Six Sigma Black Belt certification. If not completed, must be certified within 12 months of accepting position.
