Managed Markets Brand Manager - Pharmaceutical

Job Headlines:

?  Responsible for developing and supporting brand strategies in managed markets, both public and private

?  Establish and deliver managed market value proposition for the brand

?  Work with Brand Team and Global Pricing and Market Access to develop market access strategy

?  Support the alignment of the managed market strategy with overall brand strategy (which must include an integrated strategy towards all three key customers groups - healthcare professionals, consumers & managed markets) to ensure commercial success

?  Support the alignment with Pricing, HE/OR, Contracting, Government Affairs,

 

 

Accountabilities/Responsibilities:Assists in the creation and execution of Managed Markets strategy to access and drive market share in private and public sectors while maintaining price integrityAssess customer segment and disease market trends for product to optimize access and pull through effectivenessDefine, plan and communicate via appropriate brand communication channels, the brand value to key market segments, including HMOs, PBMs, GPO/Hospitals, LTC, Medicaid, and Medicare Part DCollaborate with Pricing Strategy and Contract Director on recommendations to optimize pricing and contracting strategy of the brandLead and collaborate on pull through initiatives to ensure commercial success

 

Customer: (Customer defined as managed markets and public and private payers)Works with Brand Insight Managers and Managed Market Insights to:

?  Establish customer segment priorities

?  Understand current and future practice in the treatment and management of relevant disease areasAppropriately position the brand to meet customer and company's needsInterfaces with internal customers to gain and maintain understanding of market place challengesServes as point person to network active customer involvement across the brand teamMaintains visibility and accessibility to the Field Sales Organization, with emphasis on managed market sales leadership and brand sales leaders

 





Education:

?   B.S. degree in a relevant field

Experience: 

?  Minimum of 5 years experience in pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry with experience in one or more of the following: managed markets, brand marketing (including PREP and/or Promotion), health economics, sales, pricing or market research/analytics, strategic planning

Skills and Competencies:

?  Thorough understanding of U.S. Healthcare System (public and private sector providers, payers, influencers)

?  Thorough understanding of customer and industry contracting practices and trends

?  Ability to think strategically

?  Ability to translate strategy into tactical implementation and to motivate people to execute on the strategy

?  Ability to communicate recommendations convincingly (written, oral, presentation)
