Manager, Data Integration & Standardization

Currently, we are experiencing significant growth and are conducting a nationwide search in efforts to expand our Data Integration and Standardization (DIS) Team.  Reporting directly to the Director, DIS, the Manager, DIS will be responsible for the following:

 

?  Manage DIS Projects & client deliverables

?  Manage a staff of Data Analyst and Developers

?  Provide continued mentoring and career development to staff

?  Delegate and assign project deliverablesAssist in interviews and assessments of viable DIS candidates Primary contact with Sponsor for all technical issuesCommunicate with project team members to assess progress of project completionTrain and educate staff on all aspects of data conversionCreate and maintain data conversion standard operating procedures and guidance documents

 

The successful candidate will have any combination of the following skills/experience (not all are necessary, but strength in many would be ideal):

 Four-year degree from an accredited college (Life science or Computer science) or equivalent work experienceFive (5) years data management experienceProficient technical skillsTravel Required 10 %Exposure to clinical trial data (preferably 1 - 2 years; phase I, II, III, IV)Exposure to SAS data sets (preferred)Strong knowledge of database specifications, data analysis of clinical datasetsExcellent writing, oral, and presentation skillsAcute attention to detailPrevious management experienceKnowledge of data conversion and publishing tools (preferred)
