Job Description
The Information Technology (IT) Audit Manager conducts objective and independent evaluations of Company information technology activities to evaluate whether appropriate controls are in place and functioning effectively, that overall IT security is risk-appropriate, that processing is efficient and accurate, and that such that information systems procedures are in conformity with company standards, as well as evaluating sufficiency of IT general and application controls required to comply with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002. The position will both supervise and perform periodic reviews of general IT controls, system access security, and application system controls to ensure that processes and data reporting are in compliance with legal requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
? Supervise and conduct integrated audits and reviews in accordance with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) and IIA standards to provide assurances to senior managers regarding the functioning of major IT systems; determine the scope, objectives, and procedures to be performed for each audit or review, and clearly document information to support findings and conclusions.
? Assists the VP of Internal Audit in establishing an annual Audit Plan utilizing an enterprise risk model to identify and prioritize IT related risks. .
? Develop a comprehensive understanding of the organization, business objectives, and financial policies as they relate to IT audit engagements
? Evaluate policies and procedures for adequacy of managerial internal IT system controls and the safeguarding of company assets.
? Assists the VP of Internal Audit in developing the strategy for conducting IT audits and other system reviews, including determining standards and metrics to be measured.
? Identify and communicate any control issues, process inefficiencies, operational issues or other matters observed while performing IT audits and recommend appropriate solutions.
? Assist and provide IT expertise in internal investigations of potential fraudulent or other improper activities against the Company.
? Prepare accurate formal written Audit Reports and make oral reports to management on findings and recommendations.
? Maintain a high level of knowledge of current audit and investigative tools and techniques; develop and implement new audit methodologies and techniques to effectively and efficiently provide audit services.
? Maintain a high level of knowledge regarding IT systems and processes, including the impact of regulatory laws (e.g., HIPAA), operating systems, and security network control issues, as well as Business Continuity Planning (BCP) techniques.


Essential Skills
Minimum of a bachelor's degree with emphasis on information systems, business, or finance preferred. Minimum of 5 years of professional IT auditing or related experience. At least one of the following professional designations is required: Certified Information Systems Auditor, Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Certified Internal Auditor, or Certified Public Accountant. Big 4 experience a major plus, prior pharma experience strongly recommended. Prior SAP experience required.
