Manager, Reimbursement

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Implements SOP?s to ensure efficient processes and delivery of products and services. Collaborates with senior management to establish goals and objectives for the department; implements strategic plans to reach those objectives. Adheres to reimbursement & intake work procedures and standards that are aligned with our company value propositions and improve efficiencies. Consults with third party payers and manufacturers to resolve issues and concerns. Provides input into the development of branch goals/objectives. Ensures an effective method for receiving incoming billing information and substantiating documentation. Manage and directs associate relations activities such as hiring, training and development, performance management and disciplinary actions. Identify, deliver and/or coordinates staff education programs and staff meetings in areas requiring review and development. Assists sales force in resolving reimbursement issues that may be barriers to product access including direct work with customers. Provides sales training related to product reimbusement as appropriate. Performs related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications and Education:

Normally requires a minimum of five (5) years experience in leading reimbursements of an infusion operation. Consulting experience in infusion or specialty pharmacy practice preferred. Must have expert knowledge of infusion and specialty pharmacy practices, procedures and regulatory requirements. Excellent interpersonal skills Strong relationship building skills. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Excellent group presentation skills. Strong organizational skills; attention to detail. Strong leadership skills. Ability to develop and mentor other associates Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year bachelor?s degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education.
