Manager - Research Statistics (Statistician)

Job Description

Manage statistical support in the design, conduct and analysis of clinical, target animal safety and market support studies. Write statistical section of study protocols, assist in data capture design, analyze study data, prepare statistical reports for regulatory submission (domestic and worldwide) and defend statistical conclusions with various regulatory agencies. Consult with and supply statistical support to Regulatory Affairs, Operations and QA departments on manufacturing, expiration dating and laboratory testing issues for CVM submissions. This position may supervise up to four statisticians, depending on staffing levels and work volume in the group.

Education Master of Science

Skills

This position requires a minimum of a M.S. degree, with a Ph.D. strongly desired. Academic background should be in applied statistics or a closely related field. This position requires at least 4 years of experience with a Ph.D. or 6 years of experience with a M.S. " and that experience must be in applying statistical methods in the Pharmaceutical or Animal Health industries. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required along with demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills.
