Manager of Central Processing Area

Oversees daily specimen management operations to support laboratory operations and improve/ensure quality service to clients. Provides continuous improvement for specimen processing and specimen storage activities. Works closely with internal departments, including Business Development, Project Management, IT, and Laboratory to resolve specimen processing and storage issues in a timely and effective manner.

Education and Experience:
?Bachelor?s degree in Medical Technology or science related field and MT(ASCP) certification.
?Five yeas of experience in a laboratory/healthcare environment including 2years of supervisory experience in a laboratory/healthcare environment required,
?Or an equivalent combination of education, training and professional experience that provides the individual with the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
?Ability to adhere to laboratory policies and standard operating procedures
?Ability to motivate and develop people.
?Knowledge of Word and Excel
?Strong verbal communication skills.
?Good cooperative and collaborative skills
?Strong leadership abilities.
