Manufacturing Supervisor (First Shift)

Redmond, WA

 

Directly responsible for the operation of a defined product line. This is an entry-level supervisory position designed to provide the opportunity to increase skills and responsibilities

 

Responsibilities include:

1. Human Resource Management: Select, appraise, train, and coach Team Members and set standards of performance. Fulfill staff and salary planning. Monitor attendance records and assure company guidelines are administered consistently. Maintain labor collection and corrections.

2. Quality: Establish a Team Atmosphere which focuses on ?doing it right the first time?. Set goals which incrementally improve process and/or product quality levels.

3. Inventory Management: Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, investigations, and reconciliations. Maintain close adherence to procedures, guidelines, and practices including KanBan files, labeling and area organization.

4. Process Management: Understand and maintain methods, techniques, and business fundamentals involved in doing the job to ensure that daily process schedules are met, and incremental improvement in productivity is achieved.

5. Team Member Development: Develop Team Members to assume greater responsibility.

6. Resources Utilization: Identify, locate, and mobilize internal and external sources necessary for the completion of job objectives.

7. Communication: Interact and collaborate with a variety of people and manage huddle discussions.

8. Other: Perform other related duties as required.

 

Requirements:

EXPERIENCE AND/OR EDUCATION
Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
Requires two years of relevant production experience.
