Market Development Specialist

We are a leading medical device company focused on urology health located in Minneapolis, MN.  We are looking for an experienced Market Development Specialist to help drive revenue growth.  The ideal candidate must have 3-5 years of marketing experience within the medical device arena. 

 

SUMMARY STATEMENT

 

The primary focus of the Market Development Manager will be to cultivate revenue growth through the design and execution of market development activities in support of the US sales team, and patient marketing and practice development activities for our physician customers.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

? Bachelor?s degree, or higher, in marketing, business or a scientific discipline together with five years minimum experience in medical marketing, sales, and/or product management. 

? The individual should have good analytical, verbal and written communication skills and should be capable of motivating physicians, medical, technical and sales personnel.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

1.  Work closely with US Sales and Marketing management to develop materials and programs designed to drive revenue, profitability and market share growth.

2.  Analyze marketing programs and adjust tactics to increase effectiveness.  Manage literature creation and review process.

3.  Coordinate with clinical, training, and field and customer service teams to ensure effective implementation of marketing programs, and assure high standards for meeting physician and patient needs.

4.  Meet with field sales personnel and customers through field travel at conventions, meetings and customer accounts for the purpose of identifying marketing and patient program opportunities.

5.  Expand patient marketing programs, specifically the creation of a patient web site and new patient video.

6.  Coordinate KOL programs and CME programs.

7.  Develop and maintain high-level technical/clinical knowledge necessary for support of sales force and customers, including sales training.

8.  Monitor and report on competitive products (both on the market and in development).

9.  Implement customer comment system to insure continuous product and service improvement.

10. For designated projects, participate as Marketing Project Team Representative to assure that the necessary product development/launch tasks and responsibilities are effectively and efficiently completed.

11. Develop and manage designated budget responsibilities and contribute to annual strategic planning process.About Hudson Sales & Marketing
