Marketing Associate

Affymetrix, Inc. is seeking organized self-starters with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to qualify sales leads, perform market research and communicate with field representatives. Successful candidates must have high energy, be extremely articulate and engaging on the phone, have a BS in biology, chemistry or related field and a firm grasp of genomic technology and its applications.  This is an entry-level position for a candidate that is looking to eventually move into marketing, sales, support or other functions in biotechnology. We are willing to train the candidate who has the right attitude, the fundamental communications skills and the basic scientific education or experience.
