Marketing-Communications Specialist
We are currently seeking an exceptional and talented individual to join our biopharmaceutical team. This individual will play an integral role in the execution of high-impact industry projects that focus on medical education and scientific marketing. The Foundation is a fast-paced environment.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Execute medical education and scientific marketing projects as key deliverables to biotech and pharmaceutical companies, physician subspecialty audiences, and health care consumers
- Assist in generating professional market reports and publications, and expert focus group/scientific symposia.
- Identify and source technical and scientific information for project target audiences.
Skills and Attributes Needed/Required
- Minimum of B.S. degree, or higher
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a corporate setting with 2 years experience in either a marketing, advertising or communications role.
- Working knowledge of the life sciences, biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry
- Must excel at time-management and generate high quality work in fast-paced environment
- Possess inherent aptitude to extract, process, analyze and communicate key information from scientific, medical, industry and governmental sources
- Enjoys multi-tasking and possesses ability to follow directions to help prioritize job tasks on micro- and macro-levels
- A team-focused approach to business with a very strong work ethic and resourcefulness, ability to consistently finishing tasks on time, and the highest attention to quality and detail.
- Excellent verbal and technical writing skills
- Familiarity with design, printing, and production processes
Computer Skills Preferred
PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Photoshop, Illustrator, excellent Internet research skills
