Marketing Director

Small Biotech company focusing on development and commercialization of innovative technology and tools for genomics and proteomics research has created a new positon for a Biotech Marketing Director:

 

Job Responsibilities:

Marketing:
Lead strategic assessment of market opportunities; develop strategic plans and approaches to marketing that ensures forecasts are met or exceeded; develop presentation material and give seminars to target customers; prepare and implement commercial campaign; prepare and implement booth; providing customer feedback and other marketing-related issues such as new release and catalog.
Technical support:
Lead tech support for customer; help customer technical question and trouble-shooting;
Interface with multiple group within R&D, manufacturing, business development etc and outside parties to ensure the development of high quality and novel products; help write, edit and improve manual, collation, grant and other documents; in charge of compiling, organizing and editing annual catalog; be responsible for writing, editing and improving news release and/or product update.


Minimal Requirements:

Master's with biology-related major and at least 5 years related experience; (PhD in biology-related major preferred)

Must have MARKETING experience

Must be able to wear "many hats"

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Domestic travel required-approximately 10 times a year to customer sites (2days) and trade shows(5 days) 

Manage 2 people: Customer Service Rep & Technical Support Rep.
