Marketing Director - Surgical Urology

We are a leading medical device company that improves the quality of life for its customers. We are currently searching for a Marketing Director for our Surgical Urology business unit.  Candidates must bring to the table at least 5-7 years of medical device marketing experience preferably within the urology space and class III devices and must have global experience.  We offer a highly competitive compensation and benefits package.

 

 

SUMMARY: 
Responsible for developing global market leadership strategies and plans for Surgical Urology driving the continued growth of the business within the overall Urology & Continence Care Strategy 
Develop a global portfolio of value propositions for Surgical Urology covering products, documentation and marketing activities
Drive the global commercial execution of the strategies and plans for Surgical Urology
Ensure strong Brand/Product Management covering product portfolio (launch of new products and optimization of range), promotion, pricing framework
Manage relationships with Research & Development, Global Operation and QRA and heading cross-functional teams
Lead a team of 4-5 (build the team from scratch)
Part of global management team in Commercial Development, Urology & Continence Care

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead marketing strategy development and implementation
Development of annual business plan and budgets
Develop quarterly reporting to Executive Management
Develops relationships with Key Opinion Leaders globally (Urologists)
Head a global marketing teams

 

QUALIFICATIONS:
BA Mktg./Business (MBA preferred)
4-5 years marketing exp., exp. in urology and Class III devices preferred
Track record on creating results internationally

? Strong analytical, strategic and problem-solving skills required
Strong communications and negotiation skills
International travel required (30-40%)

?Provide effective leadership and direction in a cross-functional project-oriented organization

?Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential

? Work effectively in a complex, multi-tasking environment
