Medical Science Liaison - Oncology - Western Region
Genta Incorporated is an oncology focused pharmaceutical company looking for talented MSL?s to join our staff and partner with thought leaders in the oncology community. This is a regionally based position. We have other regional MSL opportunities in key locations throughout the United States including: Chicago, Houston, New York and Tampa. This is an opportunity to join a growing Medical Affairs team and make a significant impact.
Primary Responsibilities:
Identify, develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders to ensure access to current medical and scientific information. Develop potential clinical therapeutic ideas that support the clinical development strategy of the Company and are representative of the current thinking in the oncology community. Represent medical affairs department for a specified region by providing educational, medical and scientific product data to support answering unsolicited medical questions and medical education initiatives.
Qualifications:
? Advanced degree is preferred, including relevant scientific experience in oncology.
? At least 3 years pharmaceutical or clinical experience.
? Demonstrated ability to forge strong relationships and partner with colleagues along with the ability to translate scientific/clinical data into useful medical information for healthcare professionals.
? Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
? Willingness to travel up to 50%.
