Medical Science Liaison - Western US

SOS provides various medical affairs functions to the pharmaceutical industry. SOS deploys Medical Science Liaisons and Clinical Specialists on behalf of pharmaceuticals and biotech companies throughout the world.

 

Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) engage in the scientific exchange and education of emerging and current therapies with local thought leaders (practicing physicians) providing disease management consultation and resources for key therapeutic areas. MSLs develop and sustain mutually beneficial professional relationships with key physicians, disseminating and ascertaining information that is integrated with appropriate internal client customers. MSLs, viewed as regional extensions of a company?s Medical Affairs Department, meet with key national, regional and local physicians and health care professionals on a regular basis providing these critical customers with speaker development opportunities, current scientific data and disease management programs, clinical trial opportunities and importantly, a direct conduit to the sponsor company. MSLs also conduct technical training sessions for local business teams to support new product data, product initiatives, labeling changes and new competitive data / insight. MSLs work out of an office in their home, and receive all required equipment such as computer, fax, copier, etc.

Education: PharmD, PhD, MD preferred

Experience: Minimum 1-3 years clinical/R&D oncology experience required.  MSL experience preferred.

Therapeutic Area: Oncology

Salary: Commensurate with education and experience
