Job Description:

Responsible for first article inspections, tooling changes and special inspections requiring high level metrology skills.


Job Requirements:

Bachelor Degree in Chemistry

Must have performed for at least 5 years first article inspections.

Must have 5 years minimum experience in Metrology (Note: People with Calibration experience DO NOT apply- We desire SPECIFICALLY people with experience in the science of measurement.

Must be fluent in English and Spanish.

Must know and be expert in the use of all electronic inspection
equipment, such as: calipers, micrometers, height gauges, cadillac, indicators, pin gauges.

Must know and be expert in the use of optical comparators, tool makers, microscopes.

Must know basic blueprint reading.

Must know ANSI Z1.4

Should know ANSI Y 14.5 geometric tolerancing and be able to measure accurately true position, parallel, flatness, straightness and concentricity.

Should have some experience in using and programming Coordinate Measuring machines (CMM).
