The Microbiologist's primary responsibility is to make sure that there is sufficient and effective testing is done on their product to eliminate adverse microbiological effects. This testing will include environmental air, water, surface monitoring, microbiological investigations, bioburden of materials, and decontamination testing. The Microbiologist will generate SOPs, make amendments to SOP's and also generate reports. He/She will handle validation, investigation and improvements in current Standard Operating Procedures.

Our client requires the candidate to have a BS Degree in Microbiology or Biology and at least two years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in Asceptic Processing. Our client will consider a candidate with Microbiology Laboratory experience, but it must be within the Pharmaceutical, Biopharmaceutical, or Food industries. Excellent Technical Writing skills required with IQ/OQ/PQ protocols, validations and investigative reports.
