Molecular Biologist
A Southern California biotech company has immediate opening for a full-time Molecular Biologist.
Job function:
- Develop and perform bioassay protocol for nucleic acid analysis and immunoassay on biochip and microfluidic platforms;
- Develop lab-on-a-chip technologies and products;
- Conduct research and bench experiments on timeliness projects; and
- Write research proposals and in collaboration with others for product applications.
Experience:
Molecular diagnostics, high-throughput techniques, infectious diseases, STD, and cancer clinical diagnostics, PCR, amplification techniques, assay formulation and protocol development, DNA hybridization, gene chip, and proteomics.
Qualification:
PhD in molecular biology, clinical pathology, cell biology, microbiology, or related fields. Highly innovative individual with excellent writing and communication skills.
