National Sales Manager needed for expanding Biopharmaceutical co - exciting opportunities ahead!

Position Summary:  Manage sales activities of organization by performing essential duties and responsibilities personally or through territory managers.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

*Accomplishes national sales HR objectives by interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures. 

 

*Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.

 

*Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.

 

*Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, discounts.

 

*Diects channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas and goals.

 

*Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and assist territory managers in promoting sales.

 

*Represents company at trade association meetings to promote products.

 

*Represents company at International Sales & Marketing meetings in Belgium.

 

*Meets with key clients, assisting territory managers with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals. 

 

*Delivers sales presentations to key clients in coordination with territory managers.

 

*Prepares periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.

 

*Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.

Education and/or Experience:

 

Bachelor's degree with MBA preferred and/or equivalent combination of education and five years minimum experience selling medical diagnostic products to hospital laboratories.
