New Business Development Engineer

We are currently looking for New Business Development Engineer for our Santa Ana, CA office. The New Business Development Engineer will utilize strong Engineering, and Communication skills, this individual will work with management to assess new business opportunities and generate detailed cost, timeline, and scope of work analysis.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
? Analyze New Business Opportunities and develop detailed quotations & proposals including:
? Cost Analysis ? Labor, Materials, Supply Chain, Engineering Services, ROI, Capital Equipment, Facilities
? Technical Analysis ? Device Classification, PDP Analysis, Process/Product Suitability
? Resources, Timelines
? Sales Liaison:
? Work closely with Sales to define scope of work, generate and generate analysis used to prepare proposals to Medical Device manufacturers
? Participate in Sales Training activities
? Business Systems:
? Work with Management to develop, implement, and sustain Standards, Metrics, and Business Systems
? Generate and participate in reporting of departmental performance and implement ongoing improvements

Experience Required:
? Bachelor?s degree in technical field from an accredited university (Bio-Medical, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering etc.)
? MBA preferred
? Minimum of 3 years engineering experience in a manufacturing and development environment functioning in a technical lead capacity encompassing roles in development and/or manufacturing
? Excellent organizational and technical skills required
? Ability to react quickly and effectively in a fast paced environment
? Must be self motivated
