We currently have an Immediate opening in our Information Systems department for an Oracle Clinical Developer.

 

Main responsibilities include:Manage the development, support and administration of a number of systems (including in-house, off-shore and combined development methods)Review study documentation, translate study design parameters into Oracle Clinical data objectsDevelop validation procedures that satisfy constraints of study data quality plansCreate derivation procedures that meet reporting requirements and enhance data entry operationsMaintain, verify, and improve OC database backup and recovery proceduresMonitor OC database parameters, adjust configuration on an as-needed basisProvide patch/release analysis and guidance, apply and validate relevant updatesManage UNIX and Windows 2003 Server components across multiple OC environmentsDocuments activities and work according to SOPs.  Writes clearly and accuratelyMaintains a safe work environment.  Reports workplace hazards immediatelyProvide end user training as needed

 

To qualify for this position, the ideal candidate will posses:Minimum of BS degree in Computer Science or related field or related experience.Minimum of three years experience creating data objects and procedures in Oracle ClinicalExpert in development skills using PL/SQL, SQL. Demonstrated experience administering Oracle databases in Oracle Clinical environmentsEffective communication skills; a cooperative and team oriented approachExperience in a regulated environment, especially pharmaceutical (21 CFR Part 11), Demonstrated ability to work independently and to follow through with detailed assignmentsGood time management and organization skills; the ability to prioritize own work to meet tight deadlines while maintaining the highest standards of workStrong interpersonal and communication skills; capable of production technical support, training users and writing documentation
