Packaging Engineer - Medical Device

Qualified individual will report to the Business Unit Manager.
Will be the key individual in supporting the Packaging Environment and continuous improvements in the daily operation.
Will interface with the Product Development, Sterility Assurance and Packaging Technology Group at Corporate on the design and process for new and existing packaging for both sterile and non-sterile devices.
Design tooling and will be key liaison between development personnel at Corporate and manufacturing personnel in the Colorado plant.
Troubleshoots packaging quality issues as specified by FDA requirements and implements solutions.
Sources vendors for packaging, tools, fixtures and equipment.
Participates with management in the decision process to set direction for existing and future packaging.
Writes and updates packaging specifications and ensures entire packaging is in compliance with regulations.
