Position Overview:

- Develop and enhance patent strategies to meet the company's long-term goals and objectives.

- Draft patent applications, patent claims, and responses to office actions from US and foreign patent offices. 

- Conduct and evaluate prior art searches and summaries.

- Spearhead the preparation of written infringement, freedom to operate and patent validity analyses.

- Establish and manage top-flight communication with the company's scientific and business thought-leaders.

 

Requirements:

- Minimum MS in biology, chemistry, or related area together with two-plus years of increasing responsibility working in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry, specifically in the IP arena.

- A demonstrated ability to fully contribute to interdisciplinary teams, as you will regularly interact with colleagues throughout our entire organization.

- Exemplary verbal and written communication skills

- A strong desire to assume a "hands-on" role within a fast-paced performance based company.
