The programmer analyst will participate in new application development, and be responsible for bug fixing and needed enhancements for PeopleSoft HRMS 8.8. Strong software development experience required and ability to work effectively in a changing environment with competing priorities.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Work closely with business owners, project managers and other developers to implement new manager self service components for online personnel change form submissions
* Work closely with functional analysts to develop new programs for or implement enhancements to production applications supporting benefits Open Enrollment
* Work independently to develop enhancements to production HR/Payroll programs (M&E)
* Drive and support best practice, quality and consistency within the design and development phases of application development
* Create technical specification documentation

Skills required:

* Technical lead familiar with software design, implementation and maintenance phases
* Demonstrated proficiency in all phases of systems development life cycle, from requirements analysis, systems design, development, testing, deployment and support.
* 3 to 5 years experience as a PeopleSoft technical lead or senior developer on PeopleSoft development
* Expertise in PeopleSoft HRMS, Benefits Administration and Payroll
* Experience in the design and development of PeopleSoft self-service applications
* Strong analytical, problem solving, and debugging skills
* Possesses 3 to 5+ years technical PeopleSoft competency in the following areas:
- PeopleTools, PeopleCode, SQR
- Application Designer, Application Engine
- Component interface, sorkflow, security development experience
- Manager self service/Manager Desktop, Open Enrollment

* Good working knowledge of application server fundamentals
* Good working knowledge of server operating system concepts
* Good working knowledge of database engineering concepts

* Excellent analytical skills
* Ability to integrate information from multiple sources to execute effectively and efficiently is dynamic environment
* Ability to interact with customers independently including ability to route, escalate decisions, questions to appropriate owner
