Peregrine eHealth Break/Fix Analyst

Position Starts August 14: Duration Six Months

This position will be extended into 1st quarter of 2007.

 

Description:

- Support day-to-day service monitoring incidents.

- Receives, verifies, routes and escalates Incident Tickets as per SLAs and working instructions.

 

Required Skills:

1. Has received user level training for Peregrine ServiceCenter.

2. Has a good understanding of the EMC SMARTS (SAM, AM, PM, Global console, etc.) and CA eHealth product suite (Distributed Console, Live Health, SystemEdge, AdvantEDGE View, Service Availability...).

3. Must be self-sufficient and take initiative (i.e. take on projects, and ask for more work during down times).

4. Basic Unix Scripting knowledge required.  Handle escalation process and follow through of complex issues.

 

Preferred Skills:

1. Has received training in the ITIL Service Delivery and Service support processes including ServiceDesk, Incident, Change and Configuration Service Level Management (ITIL foundation Certification a plus).

 


Some overtime and on-call work may be required.
