Pharmaceutical Scientist / Protein & Small Molecule Development

Our client, well known for its innovative products, has asked us to find a Scientist who will have an impact on their drug development initiatives.  This individual will support the company?s R&D program with sound knowledge related to pharmaceutical science and drug development.  The role is that of a technical leader rather than a hands-on scientist.  In this capacity you can have an impact on both technical and business decisions.  A sound knowledge of the drug development process including formulation of parenteral/sterile products?preferably both protein and small molecule--, broad knowledge of preformulation and analytical chemistry, cGMP requirements and regulatory issues are needed to lead multifunctional project teams in setting timelines and reaching milestones.  You will guide pharmaceutical process development activities, as well as organize available resources and funding requirements to ensure that projects are completed on time.  You will also be expected to lead the development of new or novel formulations.  The requirements are B.S. or M.S. in chemistry or pharmaceutics and at least 10 yrs of pharmaceutical experience or a Ph.D. and at least 5 yrs of industry experience; experience must include significant background in analytical chemistry.
