Pharmaceutical Toxicologist

Toxicologist PhD with 5 years experience prefer D.A.B.T.


General Description: Incumbent will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities of assigned projects in support of medical device and drug product development; conducting ophthalmic evaluations and procedures, providing technical expertise in support of unit goals; serving as study director and/or study monitor for Toxicology studies in support of assigned projects; assisting in the preparation of toxicology sections of domestic and international government submissions to support key targets; providing toxicology expertise on assigned project teams, planning project activities and budgets in conjunction with unit resources; and providing monthly project and activity reports, ensuring multiple project targets are achieved.

Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree within the scientific/technical discipline and usually nine or more years of applicable experience; OR Ph.D. within the scientific/technical discipline and usually six or more years of applicable experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D. or D.V.M. with experience in pharmaceutical development.
