The Validation Engineer will be responsible for writing protocols, executing tests, and writing reports for IQ, OQ, PQ, and PV studies.  This position will also coordinate technology transfer from Process Research & Development, refine current processes to improve quality and efficiency, ensure and/or execute proper calibration and maintenance of specialized test equipment gauges and instruments, and assist in writing and reviewing SOPs as related to validation activities.  This position must also be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, project status and results, and will be responsible for tracking validation projects to ensure completion within defined time lines.

 

This position requires a Bachelor?s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related area with a minimum of 1-3 years experience in validation support in medical device, pharmaceutical, or related industry, with a focus in manufacturing.  The candidate must have a track record of accomplishment in process validation and equipment qualifications. Extensive knowledge in technology evaluation, production startups, and continuous process improvement is required.
